The Lonely Assassins

The Lonely Assassins

The Second Doctor: Dastari, you have more letters after your name than anyone I know, enough for two alphabets. How is it that you can still be a stupid, incorrigible and thoroughly objectionable old idiot?! And what are you smiling at you… hairy legged highlander?
Jamie: I’m just admiring your… diplomatic skills.
[Day 04: Your Favourite Doctor]
Really? Really? Come on, now… what an impossible question. I love all of the Doctor’s regenerations just about equally. Well, the ones I’ve seen, at least. But I picked the Second Doctor anyway, with honourable mentions going to Four and Nine.
The Second Doctor, although episodes with him are few and far between these days, struck a chord with me. I can’t pin-point what it is that I love about him, because I just love this Doctor over all. And I really, really wish there was more to see of him.

[Day 03: Your Favourite New Series Episode]
It was a tough choice, but in the end I had to go with The Girl in the Fireplace. There are so many reasons why I love this episode, but being crunched for time and struggling with a headache, I’ll pass on my fan girl spasm.

“Homo sapiens. What an inventive, invincible species. It’s only a few million years since they crawled up out of the mud and learned to walk. Puny, defenseless bipeds. They’ve survived flood, famine and plague. They’ve survived cosmic wars and holocausts. And now, here they are, out among the stars, waiting to begin a new life. Ready to outsit eternity. They’re indomitable. Indomitable…”— The Doctor // The Ark in Space.

You’re welcome. Sorry it couldn’t have been an epic answer, I wish there had of been one to give.

And thank you as well!
